Managed UISP and UniFi Hosting
ISPAgents hosts isolated UISP and UniFi controllers that customers can launch and manage from their portal, with clear monthly pricing and controller data flowing into one tenant timeline.
Isolated controllers, one operations timeline
Launch the controller your network needs
ISPAgents now offers managed UISP and UniFi controller hosting alongside the operations platform. A customer can launch an instance from the ISPAgents portal, choose the controller and capacity, see the recurring price before provisioning, and manage every active deployment from one account.
This is controller hosting, not only an API integration. ISPAgents operates the server lifecycle, hostname, TLS, isolation, backups, and monthly billing while the customer keeps full use of the native UISP or UniFi interface.
Hosting options
| Product | Isolation model | Included |
|---|---|---|
| Managed UISP | One official UISP stack per host | Client hostname, HTTPS, backups, lifecycle management, and read-only ISPAgents ingestion |
| Managed UniFi | Per-client controller with dedicated MongoDB, network, volumes, and ports | Client hostname, valid TLS, inform URL, backups, and read-only ISPAgents ingestion |
| Combined | UISP and UniFi billed as separate products in one portal deployment | Both native controllers plus a unified tenant timeline in ISPAgents |
Monthly instance pricing
Pricing is per launched product and capacity. A deployment containing both products is the sum of its UISP and UniFi lines.
| Capacity | UISP | UniFi | UISP + UniFi |
|---|---|---|---|
| Micro | $12/month | $9/month | $21/month |
| Small | $25/month | $24/month | $49/month |
| Large | $50/month | $49/month | $99/month |
The portal shows the exact recurring increase before launch. Each active instance appears as a subscription line item. Decommissioning tears down the deployment and removes its recurring billing item.
Designed for real isolation
The hosting plane runs in a dedicated VPC with no route into the ISPAgents production VPC. UISP uses the official installer with one instance per host. UniFi controllers are separated by Docker networks, volumes, ports, and their own MongoDB databases.
ISPAgents collects controller data in one direction: the platform makes a tenant-scoped, read-only API pull from the hosted controller. UISP and UniFi do not initiate connections into the production platform.
Billing and lifecycle from the customer portal
Customers can use the portal to:
- Launch UISP, UniFi, or a combined deployment.
- Select micro, small, or large capacity.
- Review the exact monthly price before confirming.
- Add or update a payment method through Stripe.
- Open invoices and manage billing details.
- Decommission an instance and stop its recurring line item.
FAQ
Is this different from the UISP API integration?
Yes. Managed hosting operates the UISP or UniFi controller infrastructure. The API integration is the read-only data path that brings controller context into ISPAgents. Customers can use either capability independently or together.
Do customers share a UISP installation?
No. Each managed UISP customer receives an official UISP stack on a dedicated host. UniFi uses per-client controller, MongoDB, network, and volume isolation.
How does billing change when an instance is launched?
The selected product and capacity are added as recurring monthly Stripe subscription items. The portal shows the line-item total, billing status, and invoice access. Decommissioning removes the matching recurring items.
